I founded Travel Four Seasons out of a love for overseas travel, I love to explore new destinations and cultures and am at home as much in a luxury beach resort as I am in a bustling city escape. Although I didn't venture overseas until I was around 12, these days my children have seen more of our planet than I could ever have imagined in my youth, it was an school project about Australia that really created the spark. Years later I embarked on a round the world trip with a buddy, taking in Dubai (before there was much at all on Jumeirah Beach), the carnage of Bangkok and Mumbai, overland to Singapore and then a year in Australia. Coming home we dropped in on Family in New Zealand and flopped in Fiji and Hawaii before needing to buy coats in the artic weather of Chicago. That was me sold on the opportunities of Travel.
Since my epic adventures family life has taken hold, although through work and without kids in tow I still manage to escape on some nice trips. Personal favourites over the past couple of years have been a Virgin Voyages cruise around the Med (a must on the short list to look at for couples or groups of adults), a Christmas market long weekend in Munich and some hungover golf in Vilamoura. Then for family escapes we've managed Mexico, Dubai, Croatia, Cyprus, Scotland and a great NYE in Tallinn.
Closer to home I really enjoy building on our great successes over the past decade, multi-award winning for sure, but it's our team growth and dynamic that really excites me and the small measures we take everyday to improve our offering, never sitting still or taking our success for granted.
